The submission process

To Submit samples for these tests you need to undertake the following steps:

1. Collect the appropriate samples as listed in VETPATH Export Sample requirements.
2. Fill out a VETPATH Export Submission Form for each animal.
3. Package these appropriately in a LabMailer supplied by VETPATH. See the instructions (VETPATH Sample Packing Checklist) on packing diagnostic specimens for transport via air-freight.
4. Affix the pre-paid TNT consignment note supplied by VETPATH to the outside of the Diagnostic Specimen Bag.
5. Telephone TNT on 13 11 50 to arrange a pick-up.
6. Finally fax a Notification of Consignment to VETPATH on 08 9259 3627 or email Lab@vetpath.com.au. This will allow us to help locate missing or delayed samples.

Samples are generally delivered overnight to VETPATH (except on weekends and Public Holidays) and tests are run on Mondays and Thursdays with results sent out to you later on those days.
